M.M. Rengaswamy holds a Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication, specializing in the art of capturing captivating visuals. In addition, he has earned postgraduate diplomas in Advertising and Public Relations, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the industry.
Our team of skilled and talented film and video editors is adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on the quality, service, or innovation we offer. Whether it’s editing films for commercials, weddings, special events, or catering to individual client requirements, we have the expertise to bring your vision to life.
In our Executive Video Editor role at Straive, we have successfully edited lesson plans according to the book, incorporating various sections such as agenda, lessons, and sub-lessons. We utilize industry-standard software like Premier Pro and After Effects, along with templates, to create supporting content for the lesson plans. Additionally, our composting work involves tasks like green screen removal and background replacement using tools like After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
As technical instructors, we have extensive experience in lecturing and delivering practical knowledge in the field of film and video editing. Our expertise extends beyond the classroom, as we have successfully organized and facilitated seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions. We have actively contributed to course design and development, ensuring our students receive comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge in this field. Our experience also extends to ERP coordination and class coordination, showcasing our ability to handle diverse responsibilities.
During our tenure at News 7 Tamil and Satyam TV, we honed our editing skills by assembling raw footage, improving lighting, and correcting colors to enhance the visual appeal. We are well-versed in packaging content for telecasts, websites, and social media platforms, adhering to the correct resolutions and formats. Our proficiency in using pre-set templates enables us to deliver content that is ready for distribution. Furthermore, we have had the opportunity to work on various projects, including feature films such as “Brandy Diaries,” “Login,” and “Aaga Kadavana.” We have also contributed as a video editor for Z Tamil Channel’s ‘Uyir Mei’ serial and collaborated with the ‘Corporate Films’ ad agency. Our versatile skill set has allowed us to engage in spot editing for two feature films and work as a freelancer for Amerthiya Creation production house.
